tailgating/parking on Nicholson for starters. he's killed the atmosphere on campus.
Can't be stated enough. And this applies to the entire campus. It has become a pain in the arse or not possible to tailgate in most areas because of parking regulations. As a result, most people onl...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

Maybe Central residents should move to Baton Rouge or Prairieville, or Denham where the street infrastructure is up to date....oh wait Maybe they should move to Denham or Zachary or Prairieville where development doesn't lie in flood plains.....oh wait Maybe Centralians should move to Prairiev...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
not affordable housing
Good. Keep the poors out. Infrastructure and planning in Central is better than the other BR suburbs. And lack of jobs? Who cares? No one moves to areas like Central for jobs....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
Damn. Talk about a depressing place. It basically looks like an extension of Baker. I feel sorry for the people who are forced to live there
Sorry it's no NOLA. Last time I drove through there it looked like an extension of Haiti. Feel sorry for those stuck living there....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
It was stated earlier by the friend it was tied under the water line. How do you do that with slack?
What I meant was that there may have been slack before the water rose but the rope became tight after the rise.
We would be talking about a 4 ft difference of 2 points of the boat...one staying tied at 3' and I guess the other side/end rising 4' higher!
Not necessarily, what if there was extra slack in the line when tied at the normal water level?
It's humanly impossible not to n...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: 3 La hunters missing - feedthepig20 on 1/29/18 at 4:45 pm
Can you explain a bit more? Why are they tied off under water?
I don't know any inside info on this, just from what I read here. But, there was torrential rain across the area on Saturday, the day before the accident, so probably caused the several feet rise in water level an...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: 1st time boat owner. - feedthepig20 on 1/28/18 at 8:55 am
Oh yeah, btw, I can't SWIM!!!
If you spend enough time on a boat you will end up going in the water at some point. Whether you fall out, get thrown out, or your boat sinks, it will happen. So be prepared to swim....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
Culcha isn't a color, it's a life style. There is a massive amount of culcha in Livingston Parish
I've never heard the term "culcha" used to describe anything that exists in massive quantities in Livingston. "culcha" is referring to the blacks as far as I understand ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: 2017 LSU football parking ( more changes ) - feedthepig20 on 9/5/17 at 9:21 pm
LSU has been implementing more parking regulations every year for a while now. It really ramped up in 2011 when they made all the interior campus pay by game or season reserved pass. Little by little LSU has chipped away at reducing the accessibility of tailgating areas. Many posters on this site...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
This woman is the worst. Her main project while employed at LSU (she was only here for a year or 2) was to an alcohol from all student tailgates and have a single approved vendor sell alcohol in the center of the parade grounds. It was a way for the university to control underage drinking...

re: Southern Pride BBQ in Central, LA - feedthepig20 on 9/1/17 at 11:42 am
Had high hopes for this place with as much as I heard about it. The food at Southern Pride was as average as BBQ gets. I tried brisket, chicken, ribs. All just good, nothing special. Also was more expensive than most places. Couyon's port Allen or firehouse BBQ in Watson are on another level than ...
