re: 2017 LSU football parking ( more changes ) - feedthepig20 on 9/5/17 at 9:21 pm
LSU has been implementing more parking regulations every year for a while now. It really ramped up in 2011 when they made all the interior campus pay by game or season reserved pass. Little by little LSU has chipped away at reducing the accessibility of tailgating areas. Many posters on this site...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: NCAA hires former LSU diversity chair - feedthepig20 on 9/5/17 at 7:53 pm
This woman is the worst. Her main project while employed at LSU (she was only here for a year or 2) was to an alcohol from all student tailgates and have a single approved vendor sell alcohol in the center of the parade grounds. It was a way for the university to control underage drinking...

re: Southern Pride BBQ in Central, LA - feedthepig20 on 9/1/17 at 11:42 am
Had high hopes for this place with as much as I heard about it. The food at Southern Pride was as average as BBQ gets. I tried brisket, chicken, ribs. All just good, nothing special. Also was more expensive than most places. Couyon's port Allen or firehouse BBQ in Watson are on another level than ...
do not rip out tile, carpet, cabinets, sheetrock until you get the approval from the adjustor.
You don't need to wait on insurance adjustor approval or FEMA approval to rip out anything. But, take pictures of every major item in every room before you start demo or moving anything. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
I was at this game, but I don't recall that. You sure you're not thinking of ULM earlier in the year?
I can't remember if the actual game against Auburn in 2003 was delayed but the pregame show was delayed by lightning and the band was not able to do the normal pregame routine...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Tiger Stadium South End zone dorms removed, concourse is HUGE! - feedthepig20 on 7/25/17 at 5:09 pm
Kind of sad. I love the story about them getting dorms in the football stadium. That would be amazing to stay inside the football stadium. Imagine that being a student. But since that's been long gone there was no point in keeping them.
Still have the old dorms in north end zone, ...
It's a town in South La and you can barely get a decent Cajun meal or link of boudin.
It's a town with a very low percentage of residents with Cajun ancestry. It's the ignorant people who don't realize this who are the ones disappointed by Baton Rouge's lack of "culture". What did...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

re: This is why you wear life jackets and kill switches - feedthepig20 on 1/17/17 at 12:26 pm
Of course they don't put the pictures of the 15-20 yr old personally owned boat on the website. Not saying some guys don't have really nice boats, because some do, or their family does and they are able to use it. And forget about University funding. All sponsors and winnings. And some univer...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
You'll have a hard time making me believe that the UF bass team, located in the best bass fishery in the country/world, has a pieced-together boat with a lack of funding.
The majority, maybe even all college fishing teams use privately owned boats by the students themselves.
