Can we just make all the degrees more affordable, please?

I suspect this would help in affordable degrees across the board. If you gut the bloat and massive amount of money injected into college systems through bullshite liberal degrees, the rest of the degrees will get cheaper.

Or the opposite will happen. If universities lose enrollment because these degrees aren't backed by government guaranteed loans then they might need to raise tuition across the board.

how bout the government get out of the student loan business period. that was obama BS to begin with.

The next step is to limit overall loan size. Colleges have this thing where they overbuild to attract students with extremely nice and expensive stuff, raise tuition to cover the cost, then the gov't guaranteed loans come in and finance the nice stuff.

If Trump came in tomorrow and said "nobody will ever borrow more than $40,000 total in their life for college", you would ahve a few weeks of people freaking out and then colleges would figure out how to make the numbers work. No more golf sims, lap pools, etc...

The college education is the single item that has most outpaced inflation in history.

What drove up costs was voting in the communist idiot Obama. I saw it first hand with my kids. Saw how tuition was fairly stable pre-obama created FAFSA loans and post-Obama created FAFSA loans tuition jumped and the began increasing much faster. Scumbag university administrators saw that as free money. I know A&M had a building boom that began right after. F*** obama!!

This, if constitutional/upheld, should help with education costs. Less students will be able to afford the meaningless degrees which should result in drastic cuts to those departments. Doesn’t entirely fix the problem, but the trickle-down effects should be better for costs.
