You gotta get out and move that barrier.

If you want to avoid traffic, just stay until the end of the game.

You have to care to give a shite. And nobody remotely cares at LSU, the BR cops and city officials. They all simply do not give a shite about fixing anything.

The traffic cops are playing their 2nd and 3rd string too against Army.

It was the fastest we’ve ever made it to the stadium, and by far the fastest we were able to get away. So many of our “fans” had bailed out early, there was very little traffic.

In my experience over the last 10.years, the only time I’ve had traffic problems is when I parked on the river side of the.railroad tracks.. when I come down I park my car on Friday evening for a quick exit and either take an Uber or she drops me close to my tailgate.

Even back in the 70's when I was growing up the traffic was bad. We would park by Kirby Smith dorm. Would get there around 4 -5pm for a 7pm game. We would tailgate after the game for 45mins-1 hour. (We never left game before 0:00) We would cruise home (Morgan City) with little to no traffic.

Not sure I agree. I got home 1 hour earlier than I normally do. Going to the game was easier for me also. A lot of folks left early, though…

Please don’t tell people about Parker. It’s funny to read these posts every Sunday.

Ben Hur has been closed for months due to reconstruction.

Sat 40 minutes in parking lot between the Box and River Road. I won’t be going back to a football game for awhile.

I got caught in the same traffic at the end of the game on River Road as well—stuck for about 40 minutes. It usually does not back up like it was last night except after a big SEC game. BRPD and LSU are totally incompetent.

Easy solution:

Pay people $25-$50 to park in a delay exit, like an hour after the game. Should alleviate some of the issues.

Took me 1.5 hours…90 minutes…to get home. Imagine how long it would take if I lived in BR instead of driving home to Metairie!
