Traffic is remarkably worse for this game than any other this season.

What the hell! Ben Hur closed at the very end at train tracks. Come all the way back and at stand still traffic. How is that possible?!!?

Gives time for the drivers to sober up. Stay positive

Baton Rouge is a complete shithole. Traffic is terrible on a normal day, much less for an LSU game. They really need to get their shite together

True. But i got down 327 quicker for Auburn than this. I stayed the whole game and then walked 20 minutes to Alex Box to get my car. It shouldn’t be this bad.

You definitely ain't the only one who prepares for hanging out for a while after a game. I bring food and drinks in a cooler specifically for Post-game.
We chill at the tailgate for a at least an hour before getting loaded up into the car.

I’ve been living in Baton Rouge all my life and I never realized until tonight how many roads around LSU are 2 lane roads. Nicholson, River Road, Gourrier, Gardere, Brightside etc. Nicholson should be 4 lanes until Bluebonnet.

I know a place to park - on campus - for FREE - where I can get to I-10 in 15 minutes.

I parked for free as well and had no problem getting to the interstate …. It’s a matter of proper planning!

I wouldn't be caught dead napping around LSU at that time of morning.

On second thought, I probably would be.

Sat 40 minutes in parking lot between the Box and River Road. I won’t be going back to a football game for awhile.

You're asking trouble parking on that side of Nicholson.

It really is a shame, I used to go to games and there would be 90K there and traffic would just flow right out and do fine.
Now, it’s a never ending loop of poor decisions somehow set up as “our best options”. It’s really sad to be honest.

Funny story: most of those roads are state highways that can only be modified by a literal act of (state) Congress
