Too many “well, they have a $40 million roster” remarks by Clemson and others

You know the current state of college football and the rules. If you want to win, spend the money. If you can’t or won’t, it’s your problem to deal with.

Clemson still has a blue chip ratio of 46%, just below the 50% that every national champion, except for Indiana has had.

Lane's job to put the best team possible on the field with the resources that he has alotted to him. If you don't like it recruit better spend your money wisely.

I saw a few of those remarks. Yes, $$$ gets you talent, but that does not explain a 41 point beat down that could’ve been worse.
Bottom line: They were poorly coached and completely out executed last night. We have better coaches. That was clear. We could’ve spent half of what we’re spending this year and still beat them by a decent margin.

I am 100% confident that lane sees every rule or non rule as an opportunity.
Just like attacking a defense.
If they put a salary cap on teams he will exploit that.
If they banned NIL tomorrow he’d attack that with a staff of elite recruiters.

We should totally go back to the old system where Bama has the #1 recruiting class and wins every other natty for 14 straight years. The “system” definitely wasn’t broken then.

Maybe they should spend 40m too instead of having a goober for a coach who’s refusal to adapt has destroyed their program.

A lot of programs are spending piles of money on their roster.
Fact is Kiffin has shown he’s one of the best at program building already, and I firmly believe the chaos this offseason has added another layer to his ability as a coach. His program is near the top in talent evaluation, recruiting, S&C, offseason prep, game prep and in game coaching.
On top of that, The attention to detail during such a wild offseason and the ability to harness the chaos is something not many coaches can do.
I don’t know how long he stays at LSU, but however long it is will be a fun arse ride.
