i Love LSU but there is a simple undeniable legal line to determine if someone is a pro athlete or not.
Did you sign a pro contract?
If you answer YES, then you do not qualify to enter back into college athletics.
You should tell the NCAA because there are numerous basketball players who signed pro contracts who have played college basketball over the past 4 decades. LSU had one such player just last year. He was a pro player in an Israeli professional league.
The NCAA was fine with "pros" playing college basketball...until market conditions changed and for the first time ever fringe NBA players (i.e. guys who may have signed less than full status contracts with NBA teams) realized playing additional years of college basketball was much more lucrative than being on a two-way contract or being in the G-league.
Football is a little different because there aren't several bonafide pro-leagues worldwide beyond the NFL. There are in basketball and the NCAA has been fine with allowing certain pros to play college bakestball....until they weren't
What the NCAA is saying is that you can be a pro in an international league. You just can't be a kind of pro in the NBA

Exactly! He is giving Wade a way out. Wade cannot be in contempt of court and is "forced" to play Luis. LOL. Sankey is going to look like a complete idiot when this is all over.

Luis shouldn’t be allowed to play college basketball

those on the outside don't understand.
Wade is playing his cards right. Clayton is a Wade supporter. They have to do what they are doing.
RJ will be eligible!!!

I think that's the personal opinion of most people. BUT.......if he is allowed to play college basketball, I want it to be for LSU.

Mr. Clayton. Since Congress has the power to regulate interstate commerce, and as a member of the NCAA and SEC, LSU basketball is engaged in interstate commerce perhaps LSU will file a federal lawsuit against you. LSU and Mr. Wade chose not to roster Mr. Luis, and you cannot force LSU to do so. Time for a federal injunction against you and Mr. Luis. You are just in it for the money.

99.99% sure he can’t force Wade to do anything, but, I want Luis to play.
Luis helps LSU and pisses Sankey off. Win win
Luis voluntarily declared for the draft having eligibility remaining and should not be allowed to return to college because he didn't get drafted.
If 5 Alabama football players all declared early (as juniors) last year and didn't get drafted and were all trying to get back on the team, we would not be in favor.
