Probably means a federal judge is in waiting and paid off just like in politics

"A well-known southern trial lawyer just texted me and said “You really got the crazies riled up!” My deepest apology to all the crazies. (His word, not mine). That wasn’t my intention. What’s more, I apologize in advance to those who may react strongly once I can say a few words about the SEC holding four aces and having everyone in federal court. Please don’t take it personally."

He definitely is a douchebag

He is probably sucking off Sankey so he won't make a new rule that would punish Ole Miss for playing Chambliss

Well Sankey needs to remember who LSU has as well. We have a direct line to Trump and Musk via Landry.

To say 4 aces may be true but LSU has friends in high places as well.

The SEC and the NCAA are different organizations. The NCAA does not write or approve SEC rules. The SEC has the authority to adopt independent governance rules.

If these lawyers have an issue with the SEC rule, they will have to sue the SEC. The SEC is much better positioned to defend its rule than the NCAA is, and yet the NCAA is 3-0 so far on appeals.

They gotta let the state court process play out now that they have been named as a party in the state suits.

The thing about lawyers is they always talk this confidently about every case, and there’s always a lawyer on the other side saying the opposite just as confidently

The NCAA/SEC will probably get the stay on an appeal. These guys will never play.

LSU is a voluntary member of the SEC. No one is making it remain a member of the SEC. It voluntarily agrees to submit to its rules

Anyone who thinks a court ruling can prevent the SEC from punishing its member institutions is an absolute moron.

It’s too bad no one thought to point out this common sense line of thinking when discussing all the ways the athletes were aggrieved.

Particularly no, but he is the richest man on the planet and one of the most influential people to ever live… and just finalized a deal with Landry, so not a bad man to have in your corner if you needed to call in a favor.

Federal Court will clean the SECs clock. This is a Sherman act violation and RICO and anti trust collusion.
