Thought it was odd in the interview that Leavitt said Daniel’s hadn’t reached out to him.

Both former Arizona State qbs come to LSU with title aspirations hopes. Just seemed real off Daniels did not reach out to say good luck on the year. Guess we know why now. LSU is not completely exempt from fault here but make no mistake this is a bad luck for JD.

Daniels and Burrow don't really talk either. so this isn't a surprise.

the only possible thing LSU did “wrong” was accept the premise that the school would even consider holding numbers out of circulation.

Players don’t give a shite about the school they play for in the age of NIL. It’s all about who has the biggest check. No more playing for your state.

They have never been on the same team. Jayden is obviously a very busy person. Jayden is also fairly introverted. This isn’t weird. Let them live their own lives. If they happen to connect, great

They didn’t play together and Jayden is an introvert. It’s not weird

It’s apparently less that he’s an introvert and more that his mom didn’t ok the play date.

Some don’t like this, but it’s the reality of college athletics now. There isn’t nearly as much school pride as before. Especially for some of these guys that had an entire 3 year career somewhere else.

LSU going to the final four with 5 guys who grew up less than 30 minutes from campus is one of the coolest stories in LSU history. And something like that will never happen again.

In this day and age, LSU is simply JD5’s ex-employer, and his former boss is not even still with the company.

Oh damn, I didn’t know that introvert and selfish/self-absorbed were synonyms…. Learn something new everyday, I guess.

You're not completely wrong. However, thats why people need to embrace players like Nuss and Whit Weeks who stayed for 4+ years and loved LSU (despite struggles or poor play at times, they stayed and LOVE LSU that should be celebrated). Same for players like Trey'dez Green and Pickett (if they don't transfer). Malik loved LSU, Chase and Jets loved LSU, Burrow embraced LSU a little differently than what JD5 did but he still was around the program a lot when he first got to the NFL which makes this more surprising and also why I believe this is his mother and not him but its still a bad look for him.
