Disagree there good sir. While there was some trolling, Bama was the standard during that time. That “rivalry” during that time may have been some due to Saban but the majority was LSU fans knowing that in order to win the west, go to Atlanta and a national championship went through Bama. That was the true driving force behind that game. Always will be trolls but LSU fans always knew who we had to beat in order to make a run at a NC.
