Good i really wish other coaches would be honest about it. Think about what a great book that would make. Reading about the crazy recruiting stories taking place between the major sec powers in the early 2000s.
Pasta salad fruit tray taco dip and chips and sandwiches (chicken salad cold cuts muffalettas) id keep it finger foods that you can nibble on through out the day instead of a meal as no one will want to sit down and eat a lot at a time but will want to eat through out day and soak up alcohol.
I heard there is a good place to eat. I forgot the name of it but remember it sounding like a convenient store. Also heard the grounds are pretty so maybe a good place for a walk once it cools down.
Kid is free to make his own decision man and may want to get out of the shadow of his father. Also what if his kid was terrible should LSU have to extend a scholarship to him because of his dad. Goes both ways man.
No i would not feel the same way and honestly wouldnt pay attention to him since I only follow LSU. I said this because after watching him play both in person and seeing his high school film his skill set seems to fit perfectly into the collegiate game being played today especially in Lane Kiffins system.
Yeah as the 42nd guy I was pretty let down but put on the wait list if any of the other 41 guys decline.
It really does man. Give us some SEC media days. Some fall camps. Something to talk about. This off-season has dragged.
Yeah 1.25 million for all of that? Big 12 really is desperate.
Thanks for the info sir. Been too long. Need to come around more often. Hearing anything on Easton? Its weird to me that you hear how he is committed to Texas but then wants to make a "final" decision soon. This appears good for LSU but who knows anymore. There is so much loose info out there just used to drive negotiations its hard to believe anything.
As a LSU fan I would. I think our running game will be much improved but it will in no way be near the top of the SEC. I think we will be balanced but we just dont have that traditional LSU big time back. Id love to be wrong and maybe Durham turns it around or one of the new guys. I just think we spend the beginning of the season figuring out how to run the offense. I think this is an Ole Miss Georgia fight for the top spot.
Dont follow other schools like I do LSU but have listened to a few national media heads that love Miss State backfield and argue that its probably first in the league. When I heard this I admit I was shocked. I assumed Ole Miss with Lacy alone making them top tier but media loves them some state.
Spurrier as he made the 90s miserable for LSU but once he went to USC and retired I enjoyed listening to him speak. I never hated Nick. Sucked having to go against him all those years at Bama but it was a lot easier to listen to him once he did retire as whatever bias there may have been was gone. If I had to guess its because these guys are "real" like what they have to say or not they are true to their words on things. I don't think ill ever feel differently of someone like Dabo as he just comes off as fake.
Embarass them on the field and end whatever conversation there may be about Arch and the Heisman. No need for stupid antics, thats some inferiority complex shite. We are LSU go out and end their season.
Thought he was a very good coach that was never destined to stay at Ole Miss as long as he did. Just knew he was going to Auburn then last year said dang he is headed to Florida and knew they were going to be a problem. Then well BK was gone and we had our shot. Not a fan of the Twitter stuff but know that's whats kids like so dont care as long as he coaches well and wins.
Yeah i like the idea of Leavitt for 1 because that 1 would have been really good lol
In this day and age its tough enough to get a top tier QB to stay at your school let alone start. Then to have him live up to those expectations but I don't know man. Pop feels different. His skill set matched with Lane. It feels too perfect. I think he is exactly rhe kind of QB that you want now a days. I think 2 years of Leavitt and Pop takes over. Also not that I care but he will get his 5th star.
The top 25 teams in Phil Steele's projected 2026 rankings:
1Notre Dame
2Georgia
3OhioState
4Texas
5Indiana
6Oregon
7Miami
8Alabama
9Texas Tech
10BYU
11USC
12SMU
13Oklahoma
14Ole Miss
15Michigan
16Texas A&M
17Clemson
18Louisville
19Penn State
20Navy
21Tennessee
22LSU

I think Phil needs to retire. Not saying we are top 10 but really Phil. Clemson ahead of us. Texas AM that low. This guy has lost it.
Thank you sir! Needed something to tune into while at work. :)
If I had to guess it's because Texas Tech doesnt have a message board website, just a Facebook group.

Was 2010 peak SEC?

No confrence expansion. BCS championship game. College game day in its peak and look at this list of coaches.
Nick Saban
Urban Meyer
Mark Richt
Steve Spurrier
Bobby Petrino
Gene Chizik
Les Miles
Dan Mullen
Houston Nutt
All of these coaches were household names. Will we ever see a period of time like this again?
