We had a shallow inconsistent bullpen but talented bullpen,

We also had two of our best bullpen arms get shutdown for TJ during the season. I don't think we have our late season swoon last year if we still have Edwards and Shores in the pen.

If we have two of our better arms get shutdown this season, suddenly this pen becomes a bit more shallow.

People think we had a shite bullpen last year but that’s not true. The SEC is just fricking tough.

This... that same bullpen everyone said was shite carried us through Omaha

Just because you have more depth top to bottom doesn’t mean you are better top to bottom.

Fight me They don't have crews or skenes, but they have far more depth top to bottom. League is fricked, let's hope some guys develop during the season and get another fricking natty boys.

It’s early.

There’s definitely some things there that are different from last year, in a positive way.

I can’t Fcking believe I’m thinking that given Skenes, Crewes, Morgan, Thompson, Dugas, et all. SwagMasters.

Pitching obviously so much better, that must take some pressure off other things.

I don’t know a lot about college baseball.

Last year's team peaked in Omaha. It's tough to do that year after year but it's a fun season so far.

We had a bunch of pitcher injuries in the fall, preseason, and early season last year which really hurt our depth in the pen.

Jays demeanor has changed after the chip. You can tell a weight has been removed from his shoulders. He isn’t content in anyway, but he’s been friendlier & more open with the media

yes... it could definitely happen.

No kidding! But it won't. There is a better chance that we win all four of those series than there is that we would lose any three in a row.

Why can't you just be appreciative of the teams performance without making statements that this team is top to bottom better than last years team.

Our depth is better especially the pitching but last year's team was one of the best Teams every in College Baseball. Lord have mercy.

What won us the Natty last year was timely hitting in the CWS, a bullpen that stepped up at the right times, a couple of hellacious defensive plays, and a never say die attitude in Omaha. You can take all the talent to Omaha you want, but unless things fall in place perfectly, you still won't win it. Time will tell if this team can do all that, but it will be fun to watch again.

I really feel this team is built better to handle Omaha if they make it(barring tons of injuries). Last years team was incredible, but with how top heavy it was, like you said things had to fall into place perfectly and some guys who hadn't stepped up had to step up to create that magical season.

This team has much better depth and will be able to overcome one person not having it on a particular day way better than last year. This team is built for Omaha.

I said that back in fall ball. It’s a true statement.

The top end is t nearly as high - no Crews or Skenes but the bottom is way higher and the staff is aces.
