You can't make that statement now.

Circle back at end of season

Also I think Morgan was a lot better fielder then Jones. Hopefully Jones adjust to throws off the base.By that I mean it’s better to stop the ball from going to the fence ,even if you have to come off the base. I think he is learning, I realize he was a catcher in HS.

Love the rant. Never too early to panic and shite on the team/coaches, but always too early to praise them

Team does look like they get along. I like how they are playing. It’s baseball can’t wait for small slump see all these guys here becoming negative Nancies!

Some of these guys are going to struggle at the plate once SEC play starts. Last year, Jones and Kling started out hot but cooled pretty quickly. Need to wait and see how it shakes out come April or so.

I'm not saying we can't win it all again. I'm just saying I don't think it's quite money in the bank at this point.

Yep. It’s only early when the team looks good lol.

First sign of adversity and it’s we suck, seasons over!!

The pitching is much deeper. That's already obvious at this point. Both have good starting pitching, but right now we have 5 starters. Our bullpen depth is absurd.

Fielding seems to be a little better.

It's too hard to tell with hitting though. You can start to tell after about 4-5 SEC weekend series.

Pitching is better this year so far, fielding seems to be better.

Hitting will still be an unknown until the middle of the year with all of the veterans that left last year. Hard to replace that but you can certainly tell the talent with this team is there. Maybe better contact this year with less power?

Oh yeah Beloso, Morgan, Dugas, Thompson, Jobert……. all those guys sucked and are so easy to replace. Too early to say this team is better.

There is a good chance we drop three straight SEC series early on

What odds are you giving on this? Because it ain’t happening.

Can it definitely happen or is there a good chance it does happen?

I’m not sure about Milam, Kling, Jones and Neal being more than an average of .285 hitters in the SEC unless pitching is worse than last year. Travinski has looked better.

Just reality of losing Morgan, Crews and plug in others.
You could not pitch around Crews with White and Morgan there.

There isn’t a soul on this team that can carry a team like Jobert when he was on a tear.

Try what? Just asking for clarity, because it would be quite the upset to lose 3/4 series.

It would be an upset because it means we would have to drop at least one series at home, but we won't be the betting favorite at Arkansas and at Tennessee.

People think we had a shite bullpen last year but that’s not true.

We had a shallow inconsistent bullpen but talented bullpen, that at times could be total shite. The pen showed up when it counted which is what mattered.
