This team is better top to bottom than last years natty team

Fight me
They don't have crews or skenes, but they have far more depth top to bottom.
League is fricked, let's hope some guys develop during the season and get another fricking natty boys.

I certainly feel like our bullpen is stronger. We look awesome but saying this team is better top to bottom is a stretch at this point.

This is such a dumb comment

This could be accurate

People think we had a shite bullpen last year but that’s not true. The SEC is just fricking tough. You’ll see it again this year. I love our staff but pump the brakes.

That's TBD.
The pitching is certainly deeper. I think the fielding will be really good.
The batting side will depend on how well the young players endure across the season and hopefully peak at the right time.

I can respect the sentiment, but I feel like it's a little too early in the season to be making proclamations like that.

It’s way too early to know that. Last years team turned it on when they needed to and that’s all that matters. Can this team turn it on May-June? Time will tell.

It's better than the bottom of last year's team, not as good as the top.
But it's also been three weeks of baseball.
People were saying the same thing about LSU in 2010 after that team got off to a great start.

Jay Johnson has to feel on top of the world.

How stupid do you have to be to say fight me?

There is a good chance we drop three straight SEC series early on and that still may not necessarily give us an idea of how good or bad this team is.
The schedule really could frick us.

Last years offense was probably the best offense ever.

Man, I hope so! But, let’s wait until we get halfway through SEC play before we start saying things like this.

Bullpen better, offense slightly weaker, and I mean slightly

I think this team may be more balanced and less top heavy. But it far to early to think they are better overall.

What won us the Natty last year was timely hitting in the CWS, a bullpen that stepped up at the right times, a couple of hellacious defensive plays, and a never say die attitude in Omaha. You can take all the talent to Omaha you want, but unless things fall in place perfectly, you still won't win it. Time will tell if this team can do all that, but it will be fun to watch again.

Pitching is for sure better top to bottom.
Not as much homerun scare top to bottom, but still plenty of pop.
