But does anyone think the lack of concern by just about anyone over this game and already talking playoff is a bit odd?

Georgia is a very good football team..I think this attitude stems from just how awful of a match up this is for them.

I don't think UGA will score more than 35 points, judging by their other results this year.

Would you bet on LSU scoring less than 35, in a dome? Only team to hold us down was Auburn, and that was on a sloppy field and we had 500 yards.

I have given up on doubting this offense. We had a below average 2nd and 3rd quarter against A&M and the offense still scored 48.

It's a game, anything can happen, but we are allowed to be confident at this point.

1. We're still in the playoffs with a loss.
2. Our toughest games have come against dynamic offenses not necessarily stout defenses.
You could argue that's not true with the Auburn outlier, but we had absolutely no problem moving the ball in that game. We just had some weird hiccups in the red zone.

Both teams play their best game, LSU wins easy.

Uga could possibly be the toughest game we have yet to play just because it is in atlanta. I do think we are in the playoff even if we lose it though.

The players aren’t fans. They know the task at hand.

Fans are fans. No one can blame fans from being optimistic. No one has really stopped the Tiger offense. Georgia has been inept on offense at times but they have a great defense.

everyone is just kind of glazing over this game and putting LSU in the playoff.

Because LSU is in the playoffs regardless of what happens in the game. Do you really see Utah or Oklahoma jumping LSU if they lost in Atlanta? I have trouble seeing it. The game is about seeding in the playoffs not about if LSU makes it or not. Now, seeding really matters as there are 3 teams this year that seem a cut above everyone else so getting that 1 seed would be really nice.

I could see it, sure. I don't trust a damn thing left in the selection committee's hands at this point.

They had to stop ND late to win by 6...at home...a team that Michigan eviscerated. And lost to SC. Maybe that’s why?

because they have a terrible offense coupled with their top WR being out, their 2nd best WR suspended for the 1st half, and their RB potentially being banged up. Fromm is a mediocre QB, if we get a 14pt lead there is no possible way they can come back other than fluke plays. Neither Auburn nor Florida really even slowed down our offense so I don't see Georgia being able to stop us.

UGA only broke 30 in two SEC games - Vanderbilt and Tennessee. Should tell you all you need to know. Fromm didn't even complete 50% against A&M two weeks ago.

Their only chance is for Swift and that OL to play the game of their careers and make every offensive possession last 7-8 minutes and end with a TD, and hope the LSU offense is just totally out of sync. There will be lots of 8 in the box from LSU with the two receivers out.

The consecutive weeks against A&M is telling. UGA hung on for 19-13, LSU ended the game in the first quarter 50-7.

It's still possible for UGA to win, but everything would have to align perfectly.

No. We are better than they are. We will beat them. It is known.
