That’s not unreasonable to think they can ruin Kiffin’s debut.

Would it be surprising? Absolutely. Especially considering they’re 10.5 underdogs

It COULD happen anything can but I have a very hard time thinking Clemson comes out of Death Valley with a W on game 1 under Kiffin at night. That place will legit shake all night. I don’t think they will be ready for just how crazy that place will be.

Yeah, I would be very disappointed if we don't win that game fairly handily.

Clemson's talent level has fallen off fairly significantly, new QB and Dabo is quite frankly a lame duck coach it seems.

I do it all the time to read about players for the other team or narratives about their season

I don't really do it all year but when you have a big game 1 matchup, its interesting to see how your opponent thinks of our team and what they think of their team.

I like our defense in that game against a first year starter at QB.

My take on how this plays out:
We steamroll Clemson and their response will be they made some mistakes and the stadium crowd had nothing to do with it !

That's a true statement if it were actually realistic, but it's not.

The key to the Clemson game is to strike early. IF you let them score first and quiet the crowd, Clemson could hang around.

Edited to Add: We will have a new O-line, all new WRs, and a new QB all in a new offensive system, with a QB that just started to be fully healthy.

Our defensive line will have a lot of new faces and younger players, a new but very talented LB to play in Baker's system for the first time, and new secondary players (outside of CB).

I don't think we blow anyone out of the water in our first game.

2020: Mississippi State
2021: UCLA
2022: Florida State
2023: Florida State
2024: USC

I'm confident but I've seen this movie before.

I listened to it and it seemed like a fairly balanced take. He basically said their best hope is to survive the early portion of the game, keep it low scoring, and find a way to win in the end. Said their best hope is that a team of 59 newcomers (transfers and HS recruits) isn't at their best right out the gate and that LSU might be a little overconfident given the Vegas odds.

By no means did he claim Clemson will walk all over us or anything.
