Big Ten vote is going to decide who wins. My personal opinion is they lean Nix. Simply because the Big Ten hates the south.

Caleb Williams had an easy win in last year's Heisman.

153 voters didn't even list him on their ballots.

Even when Joe B. had that crushing Heisman win in 2019, 41 voters left him off their ballots completely.

Neither race was affected by this, not even close.

However, in a neck-and-neck contest like this year could very well be, ballot omissions could determine the winner.

This is some white privilege in action

Nix had to leave the SEC to get good.

the idiots who are harping on Daniels “padding his stats”

Have no problem with Nix doing the same.

"Big Ten vote is going to decide who wins."

You can bet there will be votes for both Harrison, Jr. and McCarthy coming out of the Midwest group of voters. That's just the reality of it.

The group that has no dog in the hunt - the 145 voters from the Northeast (NY state and New England) - may end up having the final say.

I read a stat that said 27.3% of Nix’s passes were behind the LOS compared to 13% for Daniels. And that doesn’t even factor in all of the dump passes Nix threw compared to the bombs Daniels was throwing.

Last year of the PAC 12. Look at our undefeated teams, and Heisman winner. Daniels can’t win with that.

The shortbpassing stats are close. The intermediate, long and long TD passes really are not. Jayden holds a huge advantage. That’s all before you get to the running the ball and yards per carry. The comparison of Nix And Daniels is not a close one. Daniels is overwhelmingly better. If he doesn’t win the Heisman then many have another agenda.

It's down to Nix and Daniels. As passers, their numbers are virtually identical. The differentiating factor in favor of Daniels is he was a top 20 "RB" to go along with being the top passer. From a purely individual perspective you simply can't convince me Nix was the better player.

BUT, if you are of the mindset that the "best player" is the one who can transcend that individual ability into team wins, then the scale tips to Nix.

Of course I am biased to a degree. But I juxtapose the individual and team comparison like this. If Daniels is on this Oregon team is Oregon 11-1? I think pretty much everyone would agree with that. Hell, I think most would say Oregon is 12-0 and No.1 in the nation.

On the flip side, if Nix is the QB for LSU is LSU 9-3? I think that is HIGHLY doubtful. There is no doubt Nix would have probably been an effective passer. But there were countless times Daniels made huge plays as a runner. Plays Nix simply could not make. And plays that if Daniels doesn't make them LSU loses more than 3 games.

It will be decided Friday night while JD5 sits at home. Nothing he can do about it.

A great game by Nix in the PAC-12 CG and he wins it. Less than average game, he losses it.

If Daniel's doesn't win it, then the award is a joke and not to be taken seriously. It's obvious their goal isn't to give the award to the best player in college football.

No sane person with any sort of objectivity would give the award for the best College football player to someone who in fact, isn't the best player.

I for one won't give 2 shits about the Heisman going forward. It's been a joke for years. This will signal the death knell for the legitimacy of the Heisman.

I’m afraid that some voters who have SEC fatigue will vote for someone other than Daniels for this reason.

Because last year’s Heisman winner came from…checks notes… the PAC 12.

We really need Nix to struggle in the Pac 12 Championship. If he has a good game and wins the Pac 12 title, he'll have the Heisman wrapped up.

This is what it's going to boil down to. For whatever asinine reason the Heisman is voted on by the fricking media, and Nix is the posterboy for what they want.

It's not fair, but That Kid Jayden isn't going to get what he deserves.
