As someone pointed out last night, the SEC really fricked up by naming AG Merrill as a defendant to prevent a suit from LA & LSU to prevent tomorrow's meeting.
As she said on Moscona yesterday, the LA AG office doesn't have anyone with credentials for the district court of NO AL. However, as a defendant, I'm pretty sure the judge would have been much more likely to allow her to defend herself. Given that opportunity, she could have made it clear that the SEC had made an allegation that was in no way true. The SEC probably thought there was going to be no defense present today.
The SEC has some really bad lawyers.

They want to kick us out because though about rostering former professional players even though they can’t come up with an actual definition for former professional football players. Meanwhile Ole Miss is playing and actively promoting a quarterback who is ineligible by NCAA and SEC rules and OU, Texas, and South Carolina actually rostered players who went through the nfl draft process without withdrawing and then came back to college thanks to injunctions. The SEC needs to be sued into oblivion IMO.
