Every fanbase has its share of jerks but Bama fans have always been decent when I’ve gone.
Not like Florida fans. I’ll never go back to Gainesville.

As the SEC moves closer to a 9-game scheduling format, Nick Saban tells @SINow that Alabama’s proposed three permanent opponents should be more balanced.
“They’re giving us Tennessee, Auburn and LSU. I don’t know how they come to that.”
Nick is already bitching because they might not schedule 3 permanent cream puffs for his fricking all star team. Pathetic.

You listed 4 teams. Try again.

Hate aTm with a burning passion. I have no desire to have this SEC wannabe as a permanent opponent over any of our traditional SEC opponents.

So we get 3 of the top 6-7 teams in the SEC? That seems fair.
Posted on 3/3/23 at 7:04 pm to Lsudx256
It should have been MS St, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.

Tuscaloosa is awesome you’re an idiot

Would much rather play Florida every year than A&M.

Ole Miss is not one of the top 7 programs in the SEC and A&M is borderline top 8. Overall, it’s a very reasonable draw compared to what the other top half programs will have.

After a little REC lobbying they'll get Vandy, Kentucky and Mizzou

Why the frick does Florida get Oklahoma and not LSU? It should be A&M playing Oklahoma and LSU playing Florida.
How’d they screw this up so bad?

Spin. The league and especially the networks want more premium games. I'm personally sick of seeing schools, LSU included, play teams that have no business being on the same field.

I’ve never had a bad time in T-town. Plus, Bama girls are usually pretty hot

OM is probably the best of the bunch but it has zero amenities near Oxford
Wtf you need amenities for diva? 3 great venues to watch a road game against hated rivals. It's awesome.
You want amenities? Take your boyfriend to a spa after football season

So technically our schedule could look like
Even yrs
Bama
Ole Miss
A&M
Georgia
Auburn
OU
Mizzou
S. Carolina
Kentucky
Odd yrs
Bama
Ole miss
A&M
Miss st.
Arkansas
Texas
Florida
Tenn
Vandy
It's going to be a tough schedule no matter what.

playing Florida every year
That has been the best rivalry in the SEC, and one of the best in college football. And almost every year the game has been decided in the fourth quarter, often in the last minute. So many of those games have ended in bizarre fashion, like Shoegate, or the bounced lateral pass after a fake FG, or the *gasp* Derrius Guice misfire on 4th and goal. Football will lose a classic rivalry.

They will still play them every other year and play at least 2 games every year against a group consisting of Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Texas and Oklahoma. There will be no shortage of marquee matchups.
