Crescent city Bakery.....which is sold at Hap's Cajun Restaurant (League city). The lady is from NOLA and makes the best king cakes I've had since we've been living in the Houston area for 6yrs

$1 totino pizzas

Domino's had BOGO pizzas on Tuesday....$13 for 2 pizzas

1 box of zatarans jambalaya mix and butterball sausage

BOGO at Canes by attending mens bball and having Darrell mitch hit 5 threes or tyrus thomas block 5 shots

If jones cant hit the ball vs sec pitchers that will serve up off speed pitchers most of the time to him, then Brown may go to 1B, Milam to 2B, and Pearson to OF

Yeah at this rate I think we see Frey take Jones spot at 1st or they'll end up shifting Jake Brown to 1st and Frey to OF. Good thing we have a lot more options this year.

I've been using Vernon's smoked sausage for years to make jambalaya. We moved to Texas 4yrs ago and with a recent promotion it appears that I'll have less chance to return to LA to stock up.

Any good suggestions on sausage I could supplement with that can be found in Texas?

I think the Rant and the coaching staff underestimate the importance of 1B. They seem to think any large human that plays catcher can also play 1B.

It's going to costs us in the postseason at some point.

Put your All American Tre back at 1B

Put Kling in LF

Let Travinski, Jones, and Beloso rotate at DH

Most likely in a regional you'll see us start someone like Coleman and use a couple more pitchers on Friday against a SWAC team.

A win Friday let's you use Skenes Sat and then Floyd to close it out Sunday.

Lsu not hitting and producing offensively IS NOT a trench so far, just a bad weekend.

The pitching staff is what needs improvement.

Friday....skenes, herring, money
Sat .....Floyd, ack, coleman, guidry
Sun......Hurd, Cooper, collins

That needs to be the rotation

You are correct and Jay has us on pace to enter the postseason year in and year out with the program steu ture he is building. I don't think many people question that.

The thing is, it's great to consistently make the post season and once in a while having those special players that can put you over the top. This year we have generational talent in Crews and skenes that will be gone after this year....you hate to waste those special players.

I totally agree.....you had a bona-fide all American 1st baseman, you leave him there.

Morgan has the speed to play outfield but is still learning some of the smaller details.

Eventually maybe flipping Floyd and Hurd later in the yr. If shores can only go 1-2 times through the order he might be better coming off the bench for long relief for now.

Not a good sign that Jobert is batting .250 with the competition we've faced so far. Especially when the majority of the other starters are batting .350 to .400.
