I liked what I saw from Chest in the exhibition also. But I don’t really understand why we’re trading off his bench minutes and growth this year for a hypothetical 2027-2028 season from him.

Hard to disagree unless there is something we don’t know. I’ve seen folks say Chest wanted to redshirt but that doesn’t really make much sense to me unless there is some other thing going on as well so I’m back to wondering if there is some undisclosed injury or impediment of some sort.

The good news is the Tigers have improved, the bad news is,with a couple exceptions, everyone else has improved.

I think this a valid point. It's all relative, this stuff does not play out in a vacuum. And internal improvement is relative as well, when it was so bad the previous year and team regressed as the year went on.

What's gonna be good enough for the fanbase is this current jackass meeting OR exceeding Wade's performance. Nothing more nothing less.

We can no longer subject our University, Department of Athletics, and -- most importantly -- our student-athletes, to this taxing and already-lengthy process without taking action," university president William F. Tate and athletic director Scott Woodward wrote in an open letter. "Our responsibility to protect and promote the integrity and well-being of our entire institution and our student-athletes will always be paramount."

I’ll be more than happy to supply the idiots on this board with transcripts from the FBI and the NCAA showing and proving that LSU and our administration had no choice but to fire Wade. Our President and Board of Governors let Woody fire him.

Make no mistake about it nobody has to fire an employee. People fire themselves

I work with Chest’s father. Surgery is why he’s been RS.

You are really losing it. Not sure what trope you are referring to of mine. Try to be a little less emotional.

Not emotional at all that’s just you making another straw man because your arguments don’t hold up.

It is an impossible task to argue against your high school player rankings.

Not only was McMahon and this new regime in kind of in wait and see mode with the NCAA, but there are still self imposed recruiting restrictions from the university in the form of visit and scholarship reductions that make it even harder to recruit. Now that this cloud isn’t over the program’s head and it knows exactly what it's dealing with going forward, at the very least there can be some planning and peace of mind.

Yet you incessantly brag about the two 4* recruits coming next season. Like I said, hypocrite.
