If you aren't seeing a team that is getting better week after week and trying very hard consistently like I am, I don't have an answer for you. Maybe I'm wrong, but we apparently aren't seeing the same thing.

We shouldn't expect anything close to a winning SEC record with this clown head coach.

This offseason we won't need to recruit 6+ transfers in the portal. If everyone returns we should be able to hone in on 1 or 2.

Do you honestly think the freshman we have signed will be more productive than Baker, Wright, and Hannibal? Otherwise we will be back in the same situation.

1. They will play with even more grit in Year 3.
2. They will play even tougher in Year Three.
3. His family will be more mature and even Nicer in year 3.
4. Our standards will be even lower in Year 3.
5. We should at the very least double our Moral Victories in Year 3.
6. We should have twice as many 5* recruits 0x2=0 in year 3.
7. And last but not least his salary bumps up with no fear of having to pay any kind of bonuses in Year 3.

Giving up 19 offensive rebounds, getting out rebounded …again….43-31, giving up 100 points, giving up 18 threes, looks like improvement ? Coaches aren’t paid according to how hard his team plays. That was brutal to watch.

if somehow by the grace of God they make it next year, would this board support bringing McMahon back the next year?

There are at least a couple of posters here that would still not be satisfied. We all know who they are.

Watching reruns of Perry Mason is more exciting than watching LSU basketball.

It’s certainly your prerogative. No one forces you to watch or post.

They don’t have to … they just have to be more productive than our younger players. Do you honestly think the returning players won’t take that next step? Last year, Reed looked like a baby giraffe taking his first steps. He’s made a huge strides this year. Mike Williams can easily replace the scoring of Wright.

I’ve hammered McBland for 2 years Damn straight. I’ll ask a question and answer it honestly What makes you think that there is any resemblance of a Tournament team next year?
And Now I’ll ask this to you about the Ranters: CBK was hired w/ 37 schollys, a WR playing QB(bowl game) and players jumping ship left and right.
If CBK would’ve gone 4-8, last in the SEC and Year 2 goes 4-8 again, play improves but has no recruits coming
What would be Your Post- they played tougher, they had grit, bullsht
The Rant would have CBKs head on a spear and for sale signs in his yard.
I love basketball, I played basketball but College basketball ain’t about playing tough, Xs & Os It’s about RECRUITING and talking the talk of the Jimmies and Joes. He may be a good coach but he’s better off at a George Mason or a Butler where players stay 4 years but LSU & the SEC ain’t it. What you lose in all this is UK, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama these teams aren’t waiting on you to catch up they get better also.

Get tf outs here!! We have had a taste of consistent competition at the Top for about half a decade.

I will bitch and complain until it becomes the norm again. We should be expected and talked about during the offseason and in March as a player with the big wigs or I really will tune it out more then I do last few years.

What does today’s game have to do with improving from year to year? I gave a simple answer to OPs question.

I guess we aren't seeing the same thing or our interpretation is different.

A few weeks back we were beaten at Alabama 88-109.
Today. 92-109
Was that a four point improvement or a 4 pt home field advantage?

So you’re acknowledging that a tournament appearance next year will not earn your support of McMahon. I wasn’t referring to you, but I’ll add you to the list.

They are getting better, but not better enough for me to believe they make a tourney next year.

We are still 3 key players away….and I’m not sure they are coming.

You know that that isn't true, don't you? Kinda hard to have discussions when you can't get your facts straight.
