We take so many 1st and 2nd pitches to get behind in the count. With a couple exceptions, who happen to be our leading hitters, we have so many hitters who take first pitches. Prime examples are Pearson and Kling. How’s that working for them....

There is heart, there is less ability. We lost heart and ability last year. This game was 4-2 with 2 out and an 0-2 count on the batter in the bottom of the 8th. One bad pitch and we lose the game. Even with 19 Ks the game was winnable....
