frick you... frick you, again...

It is the head coach's Job to run the team, including make coaching moves to put his team in position to win. Coach O has done that without hesitation. He brought in Canada, that didn't work out. he tried E, still something was missing, he brought in Brady, and now he got the combination right.
If you want to second guess his decision to bring in Canada, or giving E a shot, then go ahead.
But the man never lacked the effort or cajones to try...

Who the frick is we? you got a frog in your Pocket?

Coach O... Coach O made the call to bring in Brady, you had nothing to do with it... In fact, I would bet a decent amount of money, you had never heard Joe Brady's name until Coach O started talking to him about coming to LSU.

The OP from the linked thread DOES NOT AND HAS NOT posted on the Rant in a long time.
His only Rant post is him coming in to defend Herman before this season started

this thread is great. Now, thinking at the time Herman might have been better than Orgeron last Dec was a legitimate debate.

However, reading these threads, it was the same douchebags/jackasses screaming and pouting the loudest refusing to ever acknowledge anything Orgeron had or might do.

Screw them. I wish Chicken would just ban those dumb bastards.

Don't know for sure but I'm probably in at least one of those threads.

I was on the Herman train. I am embarrassed and I was wrong. No problem eating my crow.

I truly believed we were going to be dog crap with him at the helm

I am very happy to be wrong
mostly ditto for me, although I did give Orgeron a buttload of kudos in the spring for the Brady hire. It was the first real gutsy move he made in daring to do what his Binder(tm) said.

Couldn't be happier right now. Just hope we can hang on the Brady long enough for us to have an understudy be his successor when he ultimately leaves for a HC position. Hopefully we'll outspend the NFL OC overtures.

In a strange, ironic twist we should be somewhat disappointed that Herman and Jimbo aren't doing better because it is/will hurt our SOS.

Very well said. I was very skeptical about the hire, and downright apathetic after we lost to Troy, but I am glad to say I was definitely wrong about what has transpired over the last couple of seasons.

I keep scanning through these threads that people lost from the last 2 years and expecting to see posts where I've been trashing and hating on the staff but can't seem to find anything. Weird.

This is proof that there’s a bunch of idiots that post in here.
They always want the flashiest, sexiest, most expensive option available.

Coach O is all LSU.

This is the most ironic, poetic situation ever. The two coaches most people wanted are over in Texas floundering. The coach nobody wanted is at LSU sitting at #1 with a chance to win the SEC Championship and National Championship with a Heisman winner.

Never seen anything like it. This is going to make for one helluva 30 For 30.

There was no way to know it would play out this way but there is a whole lot of stupid and resentment in those threads.

Same here

The train looked to be heading off the rails early on

So glad I was wrong.

Herman is a dead man walking amongst the Texas fanbase. Meanwhile O is building a fricking machine in Baton Rouge. My how times have changed.
