If we are being honest, few IF ANY, were happy with hiring O. Looking at the fact at the time, there was no reason to expect a championship from him. The Ensminger and Canada disasters only fueled the pyre and fan ire. There is little chance that anyone else was a bigger critic of the hire than this writer.
Fast forward to now and things look better than the brightest optimists envisioned. The team is in a position it has not enjoyed since 2011. That said, it has won nothing yet. I think this team will do it and go 13-0 before entering its first CFP. For reasons I cannot explain I see the defense rising to the occasion come crunch time.

Sad that so few of the Orgeron haters have the courage to admit they were wrong and say it here. I've only seen one guy show up and say that - and I admire him for it.
