He voted for it because Skanky is a petty vindictive count who made it clear he would target LSU for the rest of his life if they voted against it. And it would have passed anyway

Kiffin will do whatever it takes to win inside the rulebooks. If these 5th year guys are eligible then we will take the best. If they aren’t eligible then we will stick with our team. But in no way will LK set LSU back by not exploiting some of these loopholes
This is pretty much how I see it.
I don’t believe they should be allowed to play college ball… but, if they are allowed, I want them playing for LSU.

Another example of the fan base BLINDLY simping for LSU.

shite needs to stop. Someone was going to be first set of “victims” . Move the fuk on with what you got in hand.

It's a win-win for Rousse. You look like you're for the good of college athletics while knowing simultaneously that the players you just voted against are about to sue Sankey and the NCAA to the moon and back

He’s voting for common sense man. This is objectively ridiculous that we are having to do this 2 weeks before the season
Common sense? What? No. Common sense would have been for the ncaa to issue this rule before the draft deadline and not frick over athletes who thought they had no other choice but to enter the draft. Rousse voted to support dogshit actions by the ncaa.

So from what I understand the TRO enjoined not only the NCAA but pretty much anyone affiliated or acting on their behalf. I don’t the judge really cares what the SEC passes.
This is nowhere near over

And once it was lsu that got the players I knew this would be the outcome.
Yes because God forbid LSU try to accomplish what all their other darling teams have been doing and actually be successful at it. No no no we can’t have LSU doing this. Shut it all down!!

If everybody else is banning them, I don't see a problem.

A smart calculated move by CLK! If not LSU, then no one gets to sign them in the SEC, especially ole miss ??.

We could have just not announced anything.
The initial announcements came from the players. LSU announced it based on the information at the time. It is only a story because of Lane/LSU hate/jealousy.

Pay attention. The NCAA didn’t pass the rule about Pro players, which is what this is about. It was a lawsuit against the NCAA that started it.

It came out that LSU abstained

I think Saban is loving this. I wouldn't be surprised to find he advised Kiffin to sign these guys., Rousse did the smart thing. No reason to vote no when you can't win.
If I had to bet a federal judge is going to rule in favor of the players rights and the SEC and Big 10 will lose. LSU really has nothing to lose here. People have a right to work. ThankGod. I don't want this to be some podunk district judge to rule. We need a federal judge's ruling.
Now the refs may call holding against us on every play when we play Bama or Texas but they'd do that anyway. LSU will have to beat the SEC teams and the SEC Office this year to make the playoffs. What's new? See Bama for the last 50 years.

He abstained..........

I think the thought process from a coaches stand point is: if they are eligible we want them
From a presidents stand point: let’s have some form of integrity.

LSU abstained the vote was 15-0 and they report unanimous.

He forced the issue. It's done. Focus on Sept 5.

e NCAA is the entity that waited until AFTER a bunch of guys who were out of eligibility went pro to decide to let guys in that situation be eligible. This entire problem was created by the NCAA.
Am I missing something? No one who exhausted their eligibility in the 2025-2026 school year received additional eligibility from the NCAA rule change.
A court ruling did that.
