Seven Missouri football players out with Covid

Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz on his radio show says one positive Covid test has resulted in seven players being out for the LSU game.

I would make the LSU players get that Zicam spray up the nose before and after the game. Zinc losenges for the next week.

Can’t have anyone go out if we are coming into the grind of the schedule.

Coach won't disclose. However, after reading the following:

COVID-19 testing left Missouri without seven players for its opener against Alabama two weeks ago, but no starters or key backups were missing for the Sept. 26 game.

Would guess that some of the guys being held out from our game are starters just from a probability standpoint.

It doesn't sound like it is backups because the coach said "the fans will notice who's missing"

Poor title. Only one player tested positive so far. The others are out because of close contact with that player.
