Cool, maybe now we can focus on football and other SEC sports perhaps? Good grief.

this sounds like a way for the SEC to consider this "probation" without doing it because I don't think they can.

So they will just say it is unresolved for a few weeks to make sure LSU follows suit.

they hadn’t thought this through.

I would argue that they figured this out after Sankey's sorry performance in court last Thursday. Not having answers to simple questions showed just how little thought had gone into this. And Rousse's "Moot" letter seems to suggest that conversations between himself and Sankey began the next day.

LSU didn’t break a single rule. And the SEC is realizing they bit off way more than they can chew

The SEC just figured out it must work in accordance with state officials and within the legal structures of the states of its member institutions. The SEC answers to the states in which it operates, not the other way around. It needs to stick to making the most profitable and positive outcomes for the collective universities that comprise it without interfering in how those universities operate their athletic programs

The SEC is about to find out what it means to disobey a court order that LSU had no part of. The judge even warned them not to frick around and find out. This isn't over for the SEC and LSU has nothing do with it.

SEC Presidents Met to Discuss LSU Situation,

What situation, exactly? The one where we didn't break any rules, despite other SEC schools actually breaking them?

I was a little leery about our fans taking victory laps last night, just in case something unexpected happened.

Now I think I may join them.

And as snarky as Moscona is, I hope he dunks the shite out of all his haters on X

I love the comparison to the UN made in a previous post.

That said, I would argue that they are not as effective as the UN.

Think about that…

Translates to “we can’t do shite, so we won’t do shite”.

It's more like, "we can't do shite, but we want to keep pretending like we can do shite, so we will keep stringing this stupid charade along trying to get as many people possible to believe that we might be able to do shite."

It's all so fricking tiresome.
