because either he is coming here, or he played us for more money. After reports that it was a "done deal" and it didn't happen people are back to where we were before, that it was far from a sure thing and skeptical.

yeah, I think OM is expecting him to leave at this point so there won't be that big of a melt.
The true melt is going to be LSU or UF due to 100% believing he is going to their school. And it is looking more likely he played LSU and will go to UF as time goes on.

The best thing about posts like this is it gives a narrow timeline to tell if it is full of shite or not. Its been an hour and a half with no hint of a press release so I'm guessing it was just made up in hopes of riding the hype wave and being "right" to get credit.

not saying this isn't true. But it is possible to enroll your child in multiple schools to prepare for both outcomes and just unenroll if they end up not coming here.

He just ordered the DOJ to open investigation into some democrats.
So when congress finally passes this, the DOJ will refuse to release anything due to an ongoing investigation. He planned all of this and had johnson delay the vote just long enough to stop it due to red tape.

I remember LSU fans being like this with Saban when he was here. Every single year there were the rumors of him leaving for the NFL and he never squashed them until he finally left.

You keep doing this, eventually he will be right at which he will take full credit for being in the know. Especially in a case like this where he doesn't even call his shot with who, just something will be announced.

I watched an interview with herman recently and his own words were that he had a deal to take the LSU job the next morning. He was set to fly down to sign papers. But UT swooped in that night and made him an offer that he accepted. So he backed out of the LSU deal and pissed off a bunch of people.

Yes but to be fair, it does happen. I was watching something recently where Herman said he was coming to LSU to sign in the morning. But the night before, UT gave him a great offer and he took it and pissed off a lot of LSU people.
So it was a done deal until it wasn't.
I'm sure this kind of thing can happen. Once they actually sign, everyone knows anyway.

really, it was the fact that it was getting picked up on TV clear as day. So the band was asked to stop playing it.
After a while, the band can play it if they want, but the previous band director came out and said he didn't want to because he didn't like that it encouraged the language in what should be more of a family environment.
New band director hasn't said anything about it.
