Yep, but when an OM graduate gets to give their star QB an extra year for no reason, we should be able to get something too. It is all dumb.

Give out #9 to somebody next year and just move on from retiring numbers like the policy states. This half retired thing is just dumb. Just put all numbers in circulation. Hell, I'd put #20 back in as well, just honor the players but keep the numbers on the field.

Put up some statues of every Heisman winner outside the stadium.

Saw his SEC rankings and he has LSU tied with Tenn for 7th in the SEC and #21 overall. Based on his rankings, he has us losing to UT, OM, aTm, Bama, and Tenn and only being barely ranked above Clemson(#24).

Seems really low on the tigers hearing him talk. Time to prove him wrong.

I don't doubt it was a legal contract, and I could be entirely wrong, but I don't see a court siding with OM here. I think a half million dollar penalty for breach of contract just 10 days into it while the portal was still open and no payments were made at all will be deemed excessive.

Do courts lower the penalty? Do they throw it all out since it was excessive? Who knows, but I don't expect the full penalty to hold as I think most people would look at it as excessive.

I can't imagine any employer giving a contract to someone and then asking them to pay the company half a million dollars if they leave in the first 3 months(without any payments too).

Then they can just work 8AM - 4:30/5PM and it is the exact same thing. If your job is dependent on the sun, then those jobs should just shift hours in the winter to be aligned with the sun. Sounds like an easy solution to me.
