Agree. He let that Tennessee bitch drag him around on her leash and he will ultimately be fired.

She will survive this, but Tennessee is badly wounded and history shows woke Presidents damage universities.

For who?

For SEC presidents and Sankey. They ignored a court order and targeted LSU. Keep up!

I'm reading it as the sec and a few select presidents (tennessee and old piss) lectured Rousse and then tried to levy some punishment and Rousse responded "for what" Maybe LSU got support from a few others Maybe that support came out after the NCAA reversal on mini camps today where 4 other schools would be in trouble now

Disagree a little

I think LSU got support when other presidents started to realize the legal liability they might be facing if Sankey, TN and Ole Miss kept this up.

I also think some other schools started to think Sankey and others misled them a bit.

This statement is really the SEC saying “we really fricked up but can’t say that publicly so we will release this statement then pretend nothing ever happened”

Translation: We're hoping to find a loophole that allows us to suspend Lane Kiffin for the Ole Miss game.

Bunch of pussies.

Oh, like how he misled the coaches that the CFP would give SEC credit for playing a ninth conference game when in reality that extra loss will not be credit for anything?

Translates into dragging this clusterfrick out to hold it over our heads and give the illusion that they’re in control.

I think it shows how tenuous their position is and how much they overstepped.

The words “collusion” and “anti-trust” and “selective enforcement” were uttered to people who matter in the last 48 hours and taken very seriously. That’s why you don’t see LSU being singled out anymore. “We’re talking about everyone’s rules again”

They are trying their hardest to drag it out so they don’t look so fricking stupid.

this sounds like a way for the SEC to consider this "probation" without doing it because I don't think they can

Exactly! LSU was told they are on double secret probation... off the record of course.

What it means is, they talked about a whole bunch of things and they’re soaking on them. They will meet again to talk about resolutions and any potential consequences.
It’s interesting though how it stated about member universities and from what I understand, LSU was not represented at that meeting. So is LSU a member of university.
