I don’t give a shite about suing the NCAA, they’re useless now anyways. Suing the SEC is a lot worse IMO and could muddy the waters. This could get ugly

The biggest gap in this message is they didn’t “choose” to go pro. They were forced under the old rules, that you suddenly changed screwing these players over. If you would have made the rule change before the draft these players would have stayed for their 5th year.

The sec doesn’t exist without LSU and Bama and Texas also has a player so they can’t punish the biggest brands in the conference. Texas has already destroyed multiple conferences when they get upset.

I agree with the statement in principle. LSU benefiting does not change my mind on that. But it's an NCAA problem, not an LSU problem, for anyone who wants to point fingers at this school. Either LSU gets these players, or others will.
And it's not like some players aren't already going to other schools after going pro. But we're somehow the problem because we're doing a better job of taking advantage of the rules. Yet, people barely seem to care when other teams actually break rules.

Sankey and the Presidents had their chance to vet this at the start with the NCAA and botched it. They can’t put the genie back in the bottle. It is just another example of their ineptness.

Big10 to ban NFL ex-players coming to their schools. There needs to be a common ground across the country as some do and some don’t will not work. It’s getting to be a mess. Natty with an asterisk?
