I'm pretty sure there is a tie in with the Service Academies if they are bowl eligible that they get a spot in Shreveport.

The ‘97 game was colder than a witches tit and I enjoyed every minute of it. That was also the night DiNardo debated the white helmets and Cecil ran all over the Irish. I think he just scored another TD.

Would be pretty cool to bring these back for 1 game if they do end up in the Indy Bowl somehow. I don't think they could get the Gold jerseys made in 3 weeks though.

Half right. While the Indy Bowl was the last bowl LSU went to before they fired DiNardo and hired Saban, the last team they played wasn’t Saban’s Spartans. It was Bob Davie’s Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

After yesterdays games, it seems likely that BYU will not get into a NY6 bowl & will be going to the independence bowl vs a C-USA team.

ESPN owns the rights to most of these games. Have seen multiple articles stating if they wanted to then they could approach a conference and tell them I know u are slated for the independence Bowl but we need to move you over to x bowl this year. Technically if they wanted to they could put together BYU vs LSU as it would be more appealing matchup. Not saying they will do this, but they have power to. Indy is on ABC which is affiliated with ESPN and they would want their best matchup on main station

The only people who really want LSU in the Indy bowl are the 318 LSU fans. It’s a complete shite hole stadium in a shite hole city with shite weather in late December. NO THANK YOU.

Beautiful uni, but I hope that never becomes standard. Somehow I remember it looking coral color during the game, but my eyes were burning that night because of the cold.
