I was there for both; it was my birthday in 1988 in the old Purple Section. (Not as much fun as in the bowl but my wife liked the amenities.) I remember it as a sloppy, dull game until the last drive. Everybody stayed until the end; evidenced by us not moving for 3 hours trying to get out from the old band practice field.

I was also at Bert Jones to Brad Davis with one second left to beat Ole Miss game
Three loudest moments I’ve experienced in Tiger Stadium.
Jacob Hester touchdown to beat Florida in 2007 is right behind those three.

I was at both. The earthquake game was two weeks before I got married. I was sitting in the same seat for both. Section 304.
