That's like saying March Madness sucks because two 1 seeds, one 2 seed, and two 3 seeds were knocked out before the Sweet 16.

My thoughts are that the Blue bloods are trying to buy their way to a championship through NIL. Where the smaller colleges are keeping and developing a true team that plays with heart and spirit vs the team of individuals who rely on their talent to win. The NIL has leveled the playing field in college baseball in a way no one expected. You can bet the blue bloods will put a stop to it by getting rules changed. Anyway my high school coach, Beatle Bailey, always said that a team with heart can sometimes beat a team with greater talent but heart can never beat a team with both heart and talent. See St Mary's vs UCLA this year. For those that don't know coach Bailey later coached with Skip Bertman during the gorilla ball years at LSU.
