Well, apparently, Scott did not listen to the interview that Muscona had the LA District attorney on his show who is directly involved with the 33 athletes and it’s working with the Texas attorneys and judges. In other words, he’s in the know of what’s going on.

Adding penalties to LSU or any SEC team that would play these eligible players has no standing and said it would be reverse. In fact, he said that the commissioner was a fool for thinking that this would somehow allow the players to play. They just won’t be allowed to play in the SEC.

And he said that is not going to fly in accordance with the rule of law

The preliminary hearing is (unless that has changed) is set for Monday. That ruling and the wording of it will probably dictate what LSU does.

That is not "moving on."

The hearing in question is next Thursday. Based on all indications, a preliminary injunction targeting the NCAA and SEC will be issued then. Appeals for a stay will be filed. Those have virtually no shot.

How confident am I that these players will end up on college teams? 100% confident. It has already happened. I am extremely confident that other SEC programs, with whom we compete, will sign players that would have signed with LSU, if we don't sign them.

No. The hearing is rescheduled for next Thursday, and will now include both the NCAA and the SEC as defendants. The subsequent injunction, which I fully anticipate, will extend protection for LSU from the SEC and the NCAA through the conclusion of basketball season (2027).
