At this point, it seems like the SEC/media is trying to label LSU as the bad guys, so let the players' attorneys fight until the end and see if we come out on top through their battles with the SEC, the NCAA and the courts.

I get that but also can't reconcile that with the 90+ ex-euro-pros who are eligible to play college basketball this season
There has to be some consistency in the rules and it feels like they are taking everything on a case-by-case instance.

They aren’t subtracting Ws from other teams playing Euro pros.

There is no right-way BS here. Luis is pretty much the same as Bediako. If he is granted eligibility, sure, go for it. Provided LSU is insulated from any consequences.

I have no issues with the Euros we are getting. Basketball has an odd way of determining eligibility there, but they do have a stated policy that they use for that.

Youre mostly correct but overstaying the seriousness.
These judges already know to do that. They did it in the Pavia case. The SEC doesnt even have a restitution rule but the NCAA does. In either case, it will be a temp injunction with anti restitution clause.
The real question is other bs. Refs, media, recruiting etc

There is a method to determine that because of how basketball works in Europe; they start playing for professional club teams while still in HS over there.
For US college players, entering the draft and not withdrawing within 72 hours ends your eligibility. Any of the HS class of 2022 who did that this year have a case, IMO, but if they entered early last year, they do not.

I kinda do. I think the HS class of 2022 was screwed and should be able to come back. But I also see the possibility of things indirectly impacting LSU negatively, from refs to the CFP committee. I don't think the best solution is as simple as some seem to think it is.
