Rabalais's article in the Advocate makes some sense.

I think Rabalais is right; it's time to move on. I won't hate it if we don't move on and keep fighting for it, unless it comes at a steep price.
Nor will I hate it if we do move on.
Scott Rabalais: It’s time for LSU, Lane Kiffin, Will Wade to end their eligibility fights

Or just let it play out. The lawyers are handling all this stuff. It takes nothing from LSU attention wise to deal with this.

No one else is why should we?

This is not our fight. It's the players and their lawyers.
If the injunction goes through we should simply let them walk? Play for Ole Miss, Florida, Texas, etc?

Who’s fighting? This shite’s minimal effort and the players are the ones who are bringing this to court.

If you’re scared go to church

LSU is not initiating or paying for any of these lawsuits. i don't see what the issue is letting this all play out, you might get some new players as a bonus.

The verbiage of the injunction will dictate that for LSU and whether it is a preliminary injunction or a permanent one. If it's a preliminary injunction that bars the NCAA or the SEC from penalizing LSU even if the final ruling is not in the players' favor, then go for it.
Those are a lot of ifs. And those players are not game changers for LSU.
So I am all for wait-and-see, but be cautious.

Exactly.
OM signed a bball player TODAY.
Why should we give up and then play one hand tied behind our back?

You seemed to straddle the fence which is fine. Principle is 100% on the players' side whose 2022 class got treated differently than other classes (2020 and 2021 got the COVID year), and now classes from here on out get to potentially play 5 seasons.
The PROPER solution is one that Rabalais didn't cover unless I missed it. The NCAA and conferences should ADMIT their timing mistake on the 5 for 5 policy change and grandfather in these players on a one time exemption. But Sankey and the other "leaders" ego probably won't allow them to admit the OBVIOUS mistake!

LSU isn't fighting anything. This is such gaslighting stupidity.

I like your post normally. But fans that take this lane of action is the reason Wade was let loose first time. NCAA or SEC wants us to do something let’s jump at it. We fired Wade when other coaches were doing same and proven to. Yet we fired Wade and other coaches are still coaching at the same schools. Freak SEC and NCAA they made the rules live with it. You shouldn’t be able just make up rules as you go if you don’t like rule others made before you decided to act .

Agree. It is time to move on. Just silly at this point.

The players are fighting. LSU is playing by the rules that are in place.

And you would say the exact same thing if you were one of the players whose 2022 class got treated differently than any class in the past several years or in the future right?

Props on using verbiage right. The amount of doofuses i hear saying "verbage" every day drives me crazy.
From what I understand, if the injunction is granted Thursday in LA court, it will be temporary but the case will likely drag on and won't be settled before the end of the year.

This is where I might disagree. Although im pretty high in DqW. Knows the offense, more of an in-line TE who will open things up for TDG
Harris, while he might be out of shape/injured right now played nearly.600 snaps last year and started every game for Ole Piss. Even if he's game ready by 9/19 thats a huge win. We're planning on start a true freshman or 2 at DT. He is needed.
And Pyburn's the type of set the edge run defender that doesn't always show up in the stat sheets. Another guy who started every game for us last year and led also led the team in QB hurries..maybe a few more of those get home this year with PwU on the other side. Even if he doesn't get home to the QB, his game compliments PwU/Ross very well and Jack was also injured most of last season
