With Lane gone Ole Miss will gradually go back to being Ole Miss. Not much of a threat being in lower tier of SEC and soon absent from any national rankings.

I posted on the front page that I don’t think it’ll be an issue for him. I had an uncle and grandfather pass away the day of a couple of games in HS and playing actually took my mind off of it for a few hours. It ended up being a great distraction at the time.

we could've said that about Ole Miss for decades. Solidified for me when they hang a damn 2003 SEC West champions banner when they didn't even go to Atlanta.
