As a 70 year old long-time fan, I listened to Kiffin's interview and he brought tears to my eyes with his description of the LSU brand, the facilities, the stadium, the "feel", "Go Tigers!", the desire of players to follow him to here, the desire statewide for championships. We've got the right guy.

I just hope for a night game, not a 2:30 PM. We deserve a night game to kick off this era.

I see that the OP posted his comments at 11:07 AM.

Well, about 11:00 AM over here in Lake Charles, I was told that there would be "major staff changes" in the "next couple of hours". He told me of his source but I have no name, but the relation to the LSU through the source's job is real.

So, I'll back up (for what it's worth) the OP's post.

I just got home about 10 minutes ago and jumped on TD expecting to see some news. I think it will happen.

I say this every year. If we win every game by 1 point, we win the National Championship .... and the SEC. Of course, it would be frustrating, but the point is, as said above, take one game at a time and win.

Time of Possession in our favor`

I don't know if this has been discussed or not, but the big time advantage for LSU (wasn't it 15 min?) is a testament to how well the offense played, allowing the defense to rest and stay fresh. Or, could it be that the defense played great enough to keep giving the offense the ball? Either way, great dominating game.

I also liked how many persons got playing time during the game.

All we need now is for a hurricane to hit the east coast and delay the game....or maybe move it to BR?
I can't wait to see our DL coach yelling on the sidelines.

LSU "side" in the stadium

Posted by tiigerr1 on 6/20/25 at 2:42 pm
I know the object is just to have a ticket to get into the field. But, for those that are in Omaha, is LSU more prevalent on the 1B side or the 3B side? Or, is it just everywhere (expecially with CC incoming)?

How about these camera angles?

Just keep it behind the pitcher.
Need more info for a final decision....like what part of the line-up is due up. Top of the order may dictate a higher credentialed pitcher. Middle to bottom of the order may allow a lesser pick, at least for one inning.
I just wonder how things will go after the instant gratification is "done".

If instantly wealthy, will the drive still be there to pump the weights, run the sprints, etc. that it takes to be ready for college football. And, the NFL after that?

Will they go to class, or study, or care about a degree? Who needs these things if you have $millions at 18?

NIL should be a little bonus up-front, then monthly payments based on performance in class and in the practice facility.

I say this every year....if LSU wins every game by 1 point, we'll be national champions. It doesn't matter what "it" looks like, just win.

I'm always a little nervous playing a read-option team.

ABC and LSU - South Carolina

For all that had problems not being able to view the USC game on ABC, be aware that South Carolina is also scheduled for ABC. I hope for a settlement.

Mandalay Bay was extremely crowded pregame, so my wife and I went north to the Luxor and, luckily, found a seat at a bar where I could order. It was also extremely busy. At one point, the bar tender looked at me and exclaimed, "where the hell do you guys come from?". I said, "Louisiana".
I was 24 at the time and this loss was the best game I've ever seen in Tiger Stadium. Best ... but not the only great game that I've seen since then.

The thing I remember about the campus that day was that the dorms in the stadium were still in use. Many of the students that lived there had hung very large fake condoms out of the dorm windows. Great pic. And Led Zeppelin was blasting from the windows.
