If you think the "look at me" generation isn't going to the storm the field because the "back in my day" generation thinks they shouldn't, I don't know what to tell you.

I agree it would be embarrassing.
However I think storming the field for this new tik Tok generation means something completely different to them than it does for over 30 crowd.
We grew up seeing it as an explosion marking a huge upset.
I think kids now see it more a viral trend, that they see on social media and dream about getting a chance to live that out in their own stadium.

But yes, that is becoming too prevalent these days. It should be reserved for very special occasions such as winning major championships. We can’t do it after national championships because the security is too tight.

Students initiate any field storming. The other participants will just follow their lead.
I've got no issue with field storming when it's warranted for a big time unexpected upset. But most recent LSU field stormings were not warranted & beating Ole Miss this Saturday certainly would not be either.
