Why don’t you just root for Army to win the game? If Army were to actually win, are they going to say: ”Gee whiz, you all were so nice to us, let’s just call it a tie”. I don’t think so. Grow a pair and be a real Tiger fan.

Army's starting right tackle is Connor Finucane. He graduated from Catholic High in BR and is a team captain. Super bright and a great young man. I think he is a senior this year.

As well as no STTD. I realize most ( not all)younger people of today have no common sense decency though. Its all about themselves.

I would bet there a lot of players for the service academies who get tired of this approach and having every away game be a salute to service. Anyone I have ever talked to who played in TS as an opponent loved feeling of running in knowing everyone hates you and is booing you.

Here is the guy who couldn’t handle the military. It’s ok buddy that life isn’t for everyone it’s ok.

Why boo anyway. Why can we not out of respect for their commitment to our country give them a big Tiger stadium cheer when then they run out. Then when they go on offense give them a full throated Tiger stadium noise. We can do both

I feel like the Army people would get a kick out of being STTDB’d.

agreed.

I have immense respect for the players at Army. No question about that.

But this is a football game and they're trying to beat us.

We should give them the same treatment we give any other opponent.

(By the way, I believe in treating all our opponents with class, and am not a fan of vulgar treatments of our opponents, regardless of who they are.)

But don't go nice on Army because of who they are. Go full throttle.

Why did God give a Marine one more brain cell than a horse? So they don't poop during parades.

They should be cheered before and after....not during.

If they can't handle a little booing they probably aren't cut out for the army. Better to weed them out now

It's a football game. They get treated as the enemy as any other team would. After the game is over you get the respect of being in the military.

Some Baton Rouge ties on the Army roster as well.

Connor Finucane is a three year starter on the OL and went to Catholic. Dude is a warrior and I’m excited to see him play in tiger stadium.

I may be wrong but that commitment isn't until after they graduate West Point.

But yes, in the end they are doing what a ton of people opted not to do... and that's serve in the armed forces.

You see I’m torn on this. I feel like it would be more respectful if we boo them. They need to get the full tiger stadium experience.

I tell you what, if they have the parachute guys deliver the game ball I won’t boo.
