I understand the sentiment here BUT these men from Army are training to be leaders and soldiers and I doubt anything even we at Tiger Stadium can dish out is nothing compared for what they need to be preparing for with the likes of Hamas and Hezbollah and others they will probably meet up with soon enough. Respect for Army, well that's a big YES. Patronizing of Army football, well that's an even bigger NO. These kids are supposed to be leaders and warriors they should not expect mercy in battle...

Well that's just dumb. If they get upset about a little friendly booing when they run on the field then the Army probably isn't for them

Army's starting right tackle is Connor Finucane. He graduated from Catholic High in BR and is a team captain. Super bright and a great young man. I think he is a senior this year.

Good for him. Is he a Tiger?
No.
So what is he?
Uh, uh, ...
Well, out with it
He's, uh, uh, Tiger bait.
Now you got it.

If they can't take some booing and Tigerbaiting then I don't want them defending my country. They'll see much worse in their line of work.

If you have to ask, you wouldn’t understand

Doggies that Aint Ready to be a Marine Yet

Bunch of House Builders

Seriously though - it’s like ‘talking about your momma’. You (Marines) can do it but no one else can.

Also Serious - these kids want the full experience and don’t need coddling and a bunch of hugs and kisses.

This game and all that comes with it -- the big crowd, the tigerbait chants, the whole Death Valley thing -- will be one of the highlights of their four years at West Point. This is why they scheduled it.
They expect LSU (and its fans) to give them their best because they will certainly be giving us their best.
That's the way the service academies play.

The best thing we can do is stay to the end, stand and applaud (and maybe chant "USA!" ?) as they head for their locker room, after hopefully losing by 50 points.

This one would be one to stay til end cause there won’t be a full stadium to begin with.

For God's Sake!! This isn't the West Point's Intramural team we are having an exhibition game against. Let's beat their arse like any other damn opponent

I'll boo anybody going against LSU, this is a football game, not World War 2. Stop mixing sports and politics.

They won't get upset in the slightest. Imagine the reaction if they were to receive a huge welcome from LSU fans. If ever there were an occasion to welcome an opposing team, this is it. Seems even the toughest LSU fan should be able to manage a cheer for the Cadets.

Because of what they represent, and who they represent. If you feel the need to be a hardo badass, it's a free country.

Does anybody actually boo the rent a wins?
I don’t have the energy to boo Furman University or New Mexico State, much less a service academy. I hope their boys have fun in Tiger Stadium and make memories. But yeah they gonna take that L
