One of my best friends started and played for Army about 10 years ago. He’s going to the game and hopes he gets the full experience. They’re not soft, they want to see what Tiger Stadium has to offer, at least before everyone leaves at halftime.

Similarly, we open the baseball season in February against VMI. These teams' families are almost always really nice folks and I have no problem extending an olive branch to the service academies and their families during sporting events.

These are students who are being trained for combat. Being booed in Tiger Stadium is the least of their worries. Moreover, I'm sure they would prefer the full experience. They would be more flattered, if you treat them as if they are Bama.

It’s not like this game is being played in Ann Arbor, Berkeley or Seattle. Army will be just fine.
