Please Don’t Boo Army

I implore all the Tiger fans to cheer for our military when they take the field this Saturday. TBH, I am not a big fan of booing kids anyhow. Please remember these young men serve our country and what they have offered to sacrifice for all of us in a couple of years. Am a diehard Tiger, but I am also a proud American. Geaux Tigers, Beat Army. And God Bless America.

I am coming in and honoring our military cadets on both sides of the field. My son is a cadet at LSU ROTC, and it has been a pleasure watching what the military has taught him. Soon he will be active as a pilot. He loves LSU Football, and we both want LSU to win big, but also pull for Army to play well with no injuries. LSU fans will be great as always.

Treat everyone as equals. They’re not coming here for pandering and pity that’s for sure. If you truly respect them, you’d treat them as you would any other team.

Baseball and baseball fans are a different, but the service academies always get treated well when they come here. I’m betting the same will be said for their football team.

Who cares. They volunteered to go there. Treat them like any other team. This over glorification of the military is getting out of hand.

Bro, this is gonna be a blast for ARMY. These cats are mentally strong and literally from all over the country. They get to see a great program they’ve only watched on tv. The people will roll out the carpet and be respectful. They will give the tigers a fight but come up short. Then the people will roll out the carpet again.
Edit: there’s a stable of kids from the br area on ARMY’s roster. Still think there’s a lakeshore kid who signed there.

They’ll be the only ones on the field playing for the right reasons. I’ll appreciate seeing that again.
