I have the proud distinction of kicking thousands of Army personnel out of a C-130 while in flight. Love’em all, but they’re TIGERBAIT this week.

Purple and gold, that’s why I say frick Army too!

Edit: But really I say frick Navy. All those naval academy ring knockers I had to serve with are really intolerable!

You’re not wrong. People bag on ROTC, but act like academy cadets are all captain America.

They are football players in that moment.

I get where you’re coming from, but the military gets enough pats on the back. They can get the Everyman treatment when they are playing a sport.

No one will. Nice of you to remind everyone but everyone already has that level of respect.

I was never in the military but my father was stationed in Germany in the United States Army during the Cold War. I respect the military academies.

Once the game commences, I am all Tiger though. When the game is decided, I am grateful for the service these young men put forth.

Have you noticed what is going on in Israel? There’s literally thousands of soldiers ready to move into Gaza. And yes, more than a few of them will lose their lives in service to their country. In one week, we will observe the 40th anniversary of the Beirut barracks bombing. 241 American servicemen lost their lives at the hands of terrorists. As a disabled veteran, we cannot glorify military service enough!

A very good idea. That Army team deserves our respect.

The Army and Air Force teams have both played many competitive games with ranked teams even in recent years. LSU should not take anything for granted facing them.
