I'm concerned about the coaching group continuously getting exposed, especially in week 1 games.

I have some concerns about the Head Ball Coach. Can he lead this team to success? In my opinion, if he steps back and allows the other coaches to take the reins—similar to how Ed Oregon did—we have a good chance of winning it all.

the key word in your 2nd statement is "gel", which to me applies everywhere.

everyone seeing our star recruiting and high dollar portal transfers coming in and think yep, we're gonna be great this year.

the talent is there, but lots of teams have a shite load of talent every year. we need this group to "gel" as an entire team, and then the skies the limit. I think guys like Weeks and crew will be the leaders we need to help move that process along.

A dominant, aggressive front 7 solves a lot of issues. Makes all of your secondary look better even the LB's. I think we are 2 deep at all of those positions which means we will keep fresh legs in the game. And from what I've seen and heard about the Edge rushers our secondary should be able to take a big step up tis year.

I hope Pickett and Haulcy will do enough to earn the starting jobs at their DB positions.

When fall practices start, how well the coaches get these DBs prepared and operating on the same page will be very important.

And just as OP states, the offensive line is a concern. I believe the potential and talent is there, but the overall experience is not. Hopefully, Braelin Moore can show why he was considered such a valuable signee and win the starting job at center.

DB’s.

Clemson will have a legit passing offense. I hope LSU will be ready, because Clemson is a much better team than USC last year.

The Coaches vs Dabo, didn’t look it up but what’s BK record vs Dabo? OL 4 new starters and still a question mark at Center? Also 2 of your best defenders Perk & Whit coming off major injuries. Both need to be 100% physically and mentally so not to overthinking it and just playing.
The WRs have talent but none were WR1 last year and a lot coming off injuries. LSU has a lot of potential/talent but needs to gel before Game 1 and win GAME 1! Win Game 1 it gives them a realistic chance for the playoffs or otherwise it will have 3 losses with a harder schedule and a lot of new starters.

What worries me about Clemson is they will probably have the most polished QB LSU will face maybe all year. He’s been in their system for multiple years already and he as the only reason they kept the playoff game against Texas close.

So worth that, by biggest concern by far (maybe even equal with the OL) is that he secondary. For that matter maybe even as basic as the entire defense in pass coverage.

If he has space, he will pick LSU apart and it doesn’t matter how prolific the O is supposed to be, I don’t want to be in a shootout with Clemson.

I think dline and scheme, need to be blitz happy and call timely stunts from all positions on defense and get after qb before we can sit back and let DBs learn and gel.

Need defense off field quickly throughout the year but a little more important in beginning.

A lot of new faces that has never played together going against an excellent Clemson D-line will make a really good offense (especially at the skill positions) look bad.
Throw in an OL Coach that shouldn't be coaching in the SEC and it's a recipe for disaster. (That's being realistic, not negative)

An underrated answer to this might be LB given our two LB studs are both coming off significant injury and this is Week 1.
