Just in case we forget Hester and Flynn played football, they remind us for three straight hours every weekday morning.
I’m not looking forward to their football in season talk. The only thing they will be able to do is compare anything that happens to their glory days and then each go off on a tangent unrelated to 2025 LSU football. It’s going to be great. Can’t wait to learn more about their NFL careers or Evangel football.

same.. I love Tbob...
If you want to hear T-Bob, he is now the 3rd chair on a daily morning show called "Mostly Sports". He's also on Barstool's college football podcast "Unnecessary Roughness". He will also likely be on their daily morning show on FS1 multiple times per week. That show starts at the beginning of football season. He's doing very well for himself.

The other day they did not mention a single sport until 46 minutes into the show, 3 commercial breaks. When they did it was 3 minutes just setting up and did not actually discuss any sports until the 2nd hour.
It’s just bad radio. They are too similar and ramble about nothing interesting for way too long. They don’t cover enough sports and when they do, it’s way WAY too much about them and what happened 20-10 years ago than what is happening now.
I just don’t know if it’s going to work.
They need someone dissimilar from them, or to be MUCH more structured and start with a sports topic and then later in the show they can ramble about nothing here and there.

I’ll say it again- after moving to the Atlanta area yall don’t know how lucky yall are with the radio/talent in BR.
100% spot on. I try to give Houston sports radio or XM radio a shot and it’s awful. BR has the sports radio perfected from 7 to 6 PM daily.
Thank God for YouTube and Spotify. The way 104.5 utilizes these is great. They know how to reach people.
these shows honestly get me through the workday. I’m sure I’m not the only one. It’s just part of my routine. Keeps me up to date on all things Louisiana sports too

He’s a natural fit with Brandon Walker at barstool. Perfect mix of ball knowledge and off topic goofiness.
I’m sure 104.5 can find someone like him to mix it up on the waves. There’s plenty of talent out there just like T Bob who are obsessed with Louisiana sports who would kill to be in that spot. The days of it being all serious all the time are gone. It’s ok to have a little fun

Unfortunately this. They won’t listen because they are who they are, but it’s just very bad radio.
More focus, more sports talk with their rambling mixed in later in the show, and WAY more about what is rather than what was.

T-Bob and Hester worked because they complimented each other personality wise. Flynn is the same mellow dude as Hester. OTB will have to be reconstructed in a way that fits both of their strengths.
I know its shallow to some to care about charisma/charm in media, but it’s necessary in radio to keep an audience engaged.

T-Bob and Hester provided a great balance to each other. T-Bob kept it light and varied and Hester could reign him when needed. Both were able to go off topic but then could break stuff down in a great way.
Despite all of the shite its gets 104.5 puts out a great quality product for being a small station in a small market. You may not agree with the hosts but they do a good job of not being some caller driven shite show like other small markets.

What sport you want them to talk about right now? the WNBA?
this is the worst time of the year for sports radio. there's only so much football you can talk about when there's no football being played.
Every sports show is boring right now.

I like them but I caught myself saying “can someone please talk ball” in the truck this morning. I don’t know if they will be this bad during the season but today was a tough listen.

Just asking for a friend, what freeway traffic and time will you be playing in?

T-Bob was the worst part of the show. So much better now that we are not redirected from sports to video games and movies made for children. That people actually liked his content there is one of the more amazing things about this board.

I used to enjoy the show and would even go out of my way to listen sometimes. I totally understood the TBob fatigue but he brought a lot of energy to the show and made things interesting. Now it's kind of just noise to have on during work. You can only listen to a certain amount of remember when stories and cards breakdowns.

I think the OP was saying they don’t say it like it is, they don’t rock the boat any when it is necessary to do so. They also have the same bland personality. They need someone to spice it up like tbob or Jordy
