There’s really not much else to say but that the USC season he coached wasn’t a fluke. He knows what’s up.

We're seeing him at his best.

He's recruiting well he has the team ready to go and he made the right coaching hires and letting them do their thing

He has learned a lot and has made terrific hires and adjusted to what isn't working, the sign a of very good coach.

O is doing fine, but let's be realistic, many coaches can do the same at LSU. Many. Not all. There is a reason Saban wanted to coach at LSU.

He’s definitely grown on me. I was never oneof those that thought he would completely tank the program. I just thought it would be more of what we had under Les. He has definitely shown a willingness to adapt and change. He deserves some props for finding Burrow and Brady for sure.

His biggest change is he brings guys in to do a job, not try to do everything himself. He’s a manager of people. It’s impressive how he’s adapted to everything. Recruiting, offense, fan base.

Seen this thread before.

Happens around this time of year, and always before November and beyond.

Really? Bc last season the narrative was that Aranda was the only reason O doesn't look horrible. Can you say that now? The narrative was he only hired his friends. Can you say that? The narrative was he was unable to change. Can you say that?

I was wanting us to hire Jimbo and wasn't sold on O, but I wanted to give him a chance and supported him when he was named HC. He's done better than I ever imagined. We still don't know how it's going to play out, but damn, give the man his due. He's earned a lot of respect. Right now only arse hat LSU fans are refusing to admit that. The rest of CFB is signing his praises.

he has won nothing yet. we fired miles who won hardware yet not near enough due to his underachieving and floundering of talent

once O wins hardware we can has a conversation. Bama is still the elephant in the room whom he has to beat.

if you mean he could turn out to be a very good CEo HC you could be right. he still cannot call one side of the ball.

Here is what he did. He hired Matt Canada because everyone told him he was the best OC in the country. He fired him after one year when it made him look really bad because he knew it wasn’t going to work with the rest of the staff. He won 10 games with just Ensminger running the offense. He decided that wasn’t good enough and again totally revamped the offense and now has LSU on equal footing offensively with Ohio State, Alabama and Oklahoma in a season of historical offensive production.

I will be the first to admit I hated how the 2015 and 2016 seasons ended when we let Jimbo slip through our fingers then just took the easy way out and promoted O in the first place.

What he has accomplished is remarkable. Don’t believe me? Ask UGA fans. Ask Michigan fans.

Lol he’s still a nobody.

Same results if any of us were hired to be a coach. He does nothing. LSU made excellent hires and O sits back and does nothing and gets the credit.

My mind is blown by the love he’s getting.

Exhibit A of when you can’t admit your takes on the program have been trash the last 2 years lol

Seriously???????
I wasn’t a fan of the hire, but I wasn’t freaked out when it happened. But this may be as ridiculous a comment as I have seen. He is an excellent recruiter and motivator. He is smart enough not just to want to make a change, but to find the right people to implement the changes. You say LSU made the hires, as if it wasn’t O who was making the decisions about hiring. Frankly he deserves the credit he is getting. If he screws up he gets the blame, and if he is successful he should get the credit. The buck stops with him.
