Exactly. Nothing but good things to say about O and the team this year. Its almost like they arent holding O to the same standard they held the last coach to. It was perfectly fine for them to shite all over 4 and 3 loss seasons under miles when the offense sucked but no one can act like lsu should be above losing 4 and 3 games with shite offense under O.
Its just further proof that their standards change depending upon the coach.

Ive yet to see a lsu fan have a problem with the job O has done this year. Apparently its only ok to question losing 3 and 4 games with a team full of future nfl players if O isnt the coach.

The goal posts have always been at least a west title. The only people moving the goal posts is you and your ilk that acted like 3 and 4 losses were great seasons.

Ultimately he will be judged on hardware. He gets that and the only thing we'll be able to call him is a championship-caliber coach.
Would you rather have a championship or a coach that people "like?"

MILES was handed a solid offense and did his best to run it into the ground.
ORGERON was handed a bad offense and in year 3 it is one of the top offenses in the country.
MILES could NEVER build the offense that LSU has now, and he was supposed to be an expert on the offense.

Coach O wasn't what I thought that LSU needed at the time he was hired.But I excepted him immediately and was confident that he would succeed. The he failed at Ole Miss narrative was not enough to make me think that he was the wrong hire.Based on the fact that Ole Miss and LSU were not at the same level when he became the Head Coach. And I'd like to thank the doubters,and there are a large majority on this site. I think that you guys are the fuel for many success stories in life.A person can't accomplish something before they even try,really. Now you aren't happy about something else, it's wonderful keep doing you.

Zero, as Chizik pointed out as he gave CEO one of the most sincere compliments I’ve seen a sports commentator give a coach, and deservedly so. Orgeron probably heard more negative comments than any other coach in the history of LSU football before he ever coached a down for the Tigers, yet went about his business. He has earned the respect he is finally getting.
