“Sabah” at the time was an okay college coach. I was actually talking about when Les Miles was fired.

Well we talked to 2 of them before we went with O

So I think your statement isn't backed by real facts

I said "that" good, as in not as good as they are now.

Just calm down and stop worrying so much about irrelevant stuff. What purpose does any of this serve?

Way to turn this into a shite thread by the way, great job.

Anybody could win here. I think we’re proving that by having a near illiterate man running the team. He’s one hell of a recruiter and that’s obviously helping. You’d love to have him on staff, but he’s not making any HC decisions that are making this team overachieve. Brady was an excellent hire. We got gifted probably the best QB in LSU history. Let’s not mix up what’s winning us games. Without JB9 and Brady, we’re the same as we’ve always been. I’m cheering for O while he’s here obviously. But yea, you’re never going to convince me that this guy with an IQ of an 8 year old is somehow one of the best coaches in football. Everybody said LSU could win 10 games a year with no HC. This is just proving that to be true.
You could have started and ended with 'you have no clue what you're talking about.' It would have saved you all this drivel.

Not having any offensive direction isn't really irrelevant

For two years that was really relevant

I thought I just said in this very thread that the coach has done an incredible job this year.

He is. He recruits at a high level. Has managed to bring in a top QB and a top offensive mind. And before he did that, he still managed to win games with ole Slinger calling the shots on offense. He somehow managed to build a great program after failing at Ole Miss. Not everyone gets a second chance like that.

So much so that the HC had to go out and get some help for Ensminger. Obviously, the HC thought it was relevant.

It's funny you see it that way. Normal people see it as finding and grooming the next OC

But you always try to demean everything.

1. Hahahahahaha
2. Do most people begin grooming their next OC in year 2 of their current OC?
3. This is a completely different offense and you know it. E clearly needed help and Brady basically fixed this offense.

Dabo Sweeney was a position coach at Clemson when he was elevated to HC. He took a few years but look at what he has accomplished. I look for O to do the same.

Has nothing to do with anything

O and E knew what offense they wanted and found the guy to help get them there. He's clearly the next OC. It's that simple

I read an article about Dabo and the culture he build at Clemson. Really changed my thought on what O does here

the big test for O will be keeping the assistants around

There is no reason Veneables. and Elliot and Scott should still be at Clemson

Seeing as the offense was so bad last season, and he went out and hired an offense assistant to modernize the offense, most people looking at the sequence of events would logically conclude that the HC was dissatisfied with the offensive production.

This is 100% true.

However he's being groomed to be the OC. E is a placeholder and groomer.

We were moving this direction at the end of last season.
