Well speak for your damn self if you’re happy with an 8 win season.

I’m not. We didn’t fire Les so we could have 8 win seasons.

8 wins this year should get Alleva and O fired.

Loser.

I wouldn't say that. Is it likely? probably not, but it wouldn't be likely with some other coach either with this talent and experience level and schedule.
a lot will be told in the Miami game.

it played a part in it. That combined with the teams most recent down turn and his stubbornness to adapt on offense.

Hmm I wonder how we got here with less talent after two Ed Orgeron recruiting cycles? It was probably Nick Saban’s fault somehow. /s

This is what the Opumpers will be saying after this season if it tanks, too.

That and making excuses for him.

Literally NO ONE is disagreeing with you. But the likelihood of OH-NO being fired for an 8-win season is low.

I would be happy with just Alleva being fired.

By your logic that buffoon should have never been hired.

And Orgeron couldn't beat Troy.

Let's hope he goes 15-0 and we still fire him

“ it was time for miles to go “

I don’t disagree with that, but Christ, what college football guy with a sports I.Q over 75 would exchange the miles resume for the coach O resume??

The only way that makes any sense to me is if the powers that be at LSU have decided that they’re not going to spend 4 to $8 million to hire a college football coach as long as Nick is at Bama.

Look, maybe Coach O will surprise some of us and take LSU back to a top 10 team. I certainly hope so.

Les was fired because he ran the most predictable, stale offense in college football with zero entertainment value

Ah, so if he won 12 games in 2015 with the same offense he would still have been fired?

“He went eight and five in 2015”

What?

If 2015 was “terrible”, what in the hell was 2017?

Chicken may as well get the coaching changes board opened if this is the case.

To the OP, you are right.
The new coach at LSU should be expected to win 10 games this season (I would go with 9, if we could see a plausible transition to a new program that made sense and a demonstrably improving recruiting base).
No, O will not win 10 or 9 or 8.
Yes, Les, is a better head coach and representative of the university.
Yes, Les should have been fired.
No, it makes no sense to fire O without a new "I am the search".
Yes, there is some hope with a new BOS in June, not controlled by the old Jindal appointees.

Played in 2011 for the 2010 season. And that schedule was not as hard as the one coming up

I think you missed the point, since you specifically said he didn’t have to face the championship game participants from the prior season.
