We have the hardest schedule next year. If he wins 10 he will get a raise

incorrect. 9-3, 8-4 is somewhat respectable nationwide with the schedule we have. Alleva only cares about how the nation perceives us, not how the fans perceive us.

He didn't play the 2 teams who played in the NC the year before. Miles can't cross the 50 yard line when it mattered

Do you realized we have a lower RPI than ULL? Beating us twice just proves how far we have fallen.

You're referring to Miles' second appearance in a national championship game. While that game didn't go how any Tiger fan wanted, this quote is absurd.

O's highlight is beating a #10 ranked Auburn team. I do give him credit for that win, I was elated. Then the bowl game rolls around and it's the same thing we saw earlier in the season. A team with a defense will give him trouble.

If, let me stress if O gets through this schedule, I'm on board. It's a hard schedule but I'm not about to lower standards because O is a "new" coach. He knew the expectations, he said that himself. He's going into his third year.

He's surrounded himself with analysts and all that happy stuff, so there can be no excuses now. I don't want to see the team fail but I also don't think Orgeron is the coach the players need. He sells a big game but rarely produces results.

I'd sure like him to prove me wrong but I have my doubts.

Relax, you have Southeastern, LA Tech, and Rice. 3 auto-wins.

“ paid much less than miles “

You get paid more when you win a national championship than you do when you have never won anything. Really, that’s college football 101.

If we are going to EVER be satisfied with 8-9 wins, why in the hell did we traumatize the program by firing a coach who averaged 10 wins over 11 seasons?

LSU has played a top 5-10 SOS for yrs. Why is that suddenly an excuse for lower expectations?

Im predicting a 11-1 regular season for the tigers, the lone loss is a trip up cause of injuries and beat up on a tough game prior and off to sec championship game and play off. What happens after that no idea. Lsu purple n gold tigers regular season record in 2018 football season 11-1 regular season record prediction :) with a bad arse athletic director coming to lsu in lets say august 2018. With basketball with will wade, Predicting 7 regular season losses and on to semi finals or finals sec tournament with will wade n company and this time invited to ncaa tournament for 2018-2019 season and go pretty far.

Les was fired because he could no longer do it

Les was fired because he ran the most predictable, stale offense in college football with zero entertainment value. He basically was a "I did it my way" kind of guy. He should have been canned after the three consecutive, disgraceful blowouts versus Bama, Ole Miss and Arkansas.
O isn't going 10-2 this unless one of the quarterbacks morphs into Tom Brady. Like it or not, he is in the middle of rebuilding the roster. He needs to have a good enough season to keep the best Louisiana players at home this recruiting cycle and to find a legitimate SEC talented quarterback.

That's not why Les was fired.

He was fired because he refused to make changes demanded by his boss. His loyalty to his buddy Cam cost him his job essentially.

I don’t think anyone hates O. He just sucks at his job and is in over his head.

Now Alleva, everyone hates that prick.
